Born and raised on a farm in Norfolk, I am excited to serve the hearing needs of my hometown and its surrounding communities. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and my Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University. I have eighteen years of experience working in audiology private practice. My specialties are diagnosing hearing loss, fitting hearing aids, and other listening devices as well as communication strategies. I am looking forward to assisting you on your journey to better hearing.
As an undergraduate student, my goal was to have a career in a health field. The specific field was uncertain to me until one day when speaking with Dr. Honke's wife, Mary. She suggested that I visit with Dr. Honke about Audiology. As soon as she spoke the words, I knew in my heart that I was on the right path. I shadowed Dr. Honke and found the career that I desired. Audiology is a field where I build connections with my patients and make a true impact on their quality of life. I feel blessed everyday that I spend with my patients.
