Working with an Audiologist that follows best practices (just like Dr. Cliff does in his clinics) is the key to a life-transforming hearing care experience. Treating hearing loss properly is complex, and requires a provider willing to invest the time and resources in your optimal hearing results.
Only about 20% of hearing providers follow best practices in audiology...choosing a Best Practice Pro Provider ensures that you will receive hearing care that includes Best Practices -- leading to your best hearing in the situations and with the people that matter the most.
Dr. Strom has completed a thorough 1 on 1 vetting process with Dr. Cliff himself to verify that she follows Best Practices in patient care.
As an independent Private Practice Audiologist, Dr. Strom will hand-pick the best hearing technology available for your unique needs.

Why do you feel Best Practices are critical for optimal Hearing Aid performance?
"I use best practices in my clinic in order to ensure that my patients are receiving optimal benefit from their hearing aids. From the time my patients walk in the door, to receiving their hearing aids and their follow-up care, we are implementing Best Practices. I went into this field in order to help people hear better and the only way to do that is to use well researched methods to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of my patients. I often explain to my patients that hearing aids alone will not help them; they need to be working with a professional who will educate them on hearing loss, treatment using Best Practices."
Why did you feel compelled to join the Dr. Cliff Approved Provider Network?
"Dr. Cliff has an impressive checklist for following best practices. He makes sure that each of the audiologists in his network are putting patient care above all else. All of the audiologists in his network use well researched and proven treatment methods in their practice. Anyone who would like to invest in better hearing should select an audiologist from the network to be assured that they are working with a professional with high standards of care."
What do you like best about Audiology?
"I love that audiology encompasses many fields: psychology(in working with people accepting and working through their hearing loss), math/science(given how acoustics in an important word in audiology), technical work (all things related to hearing aids, esp HA repairs, etc.,). In particular, using my technical skills for hearing aid repairs makes me and my patients most happy."
What was your journey to becoming an Audiologist?
"I took many many courses as an undergraduate student. I took psychology (and in particular- neuropsychology), math, computer science, speech language pathology, and then I found what I have been looking for so many semesters – took an audiology course and was hooked!! After college, I applied to a doctoral program in audiology and have been privileged to intern in prestigious hospitals and audiology centers in NYC. I did my residency at Hackensack Medical Center in NJ and have been working in private practice since."
