What are best practices?

...and why do they matter to you?
More than just hearing aids - hearing care is a treatment process

Working  with an Audiologist  that follows best practices (just like Dr. Cliff does in his clinics) is the key to a life-transforming hearing care experience. Treating hearing loss properly is complex, and requires a provider willing to invest  the time  and resources in your optimal hearing results.

Only about 20% of hearing providers follow best practices  in audiology...choosing a Best Practice Pro Provider ensures that you will receive hearing care that includes Best Practices -- leading to your best hearing in the situations and with the people that matter the most.

Sarah Fisher, AuD

Dr. Sarah Kate Fisher was born and raised in Huntsville and received her bachelor’s from the University of Alabama and her doctorate from Auburn University.

Although her purpose as an audiologist is to treat hearing loss and other hearing disorders, she doesn’t just focus on the ears, she also focuses on the person. Any given day, you will catch Dr. Fisher completing a functional hearing assessment, fitting someone with their first hearing aids, counseling a patient’s family on the best communication strategies, taking impressions for hearing protection, evaluating other ear disorders (such as tinnitus, misophonia, hyperacusis), or just cleaning earwax from a patient’s ear.

Her favorite thing about being part of the team is that “we’re all researchers, if there’s a new article being published that could improve patient care, we all discuss it and come up with ways to implement it into the practice.”

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading books, hiking, crocheting, and watching Supercross and college football.
